For a truly suggestive tasting experience, we invite you to the Bel Sit wine tasting on the ancient tower of Castagnole delle Lanze<\/strong>: a panoramic point<\/strong> from where you can admire the Langhe <\/strong>and Monferrato <\/strong>and stretch your gaze as far as the Alps<\/strong>. You can enjoy our products<\/strong> before a marvellous view<\/strong> and you will have the chance to discover the history of the village and its most symbolic building<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The tower of Castagnole<\/a>, in fact, is located in the highest part of the old village and dates back to 1880<\/strong>. It was built at the behest of Count Paolo Ballada of Saint Robert<\/strong>, who used it as a watchtower <\/strong>and observatory, but also as a shelter for his collection of plants and insects<\/strong>. Count Ballada was a great lover of entomology and botany, but also a distinguished scholar of military technology. When he moved to Turin in 1884, he left the tower and the surrounding land to the Municipality of Castagnole<\/strong>, which fifty years later inaugurated the Parco della Rimembranza<\/strong> (Remembrance Park) on that site, dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the First World War.<\/p>\n

During the tasting <\/strong>you will be able to try our ros\u00e9 wine 25\/9<\/a>, or alternatively the white wine C\u00e0llido<\/a>: you can let us know your preference when we agree on the date. In addition, you can taste our Barbera d’Asti DOCG La Turna<\/a>, Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG Cunsej<\/a> and Moscato d’Asti DOCG Biundur\u00e0<\/a>. T<\/p>\n
